Santa will help with lighting the village Christmas tree, filling the night with a warm holiday glow. PharmaChoice will be providing hot chocolate, and Christmas carolers will be singing familiar favourites, creating a joyful atmosphere throughout the streets. Afterwards families can hop on a cozy hayride (donations collected for the C.S.S. band) and take in the lights, music, and magical spirit of the season. Grab your gloves and cheer on the fun as the Chase Heat hit the street for a lively game of community hockey. Starting at 6:45pm, everyone is invited to join the action, pass the puck, and play alongside members of our local team. It is an energetic, family-friendly highlight of the evening, offering a chance to meet the players and enjoy a true Chase tradition right in the heart of downtown.

Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by the volunteers of the Chase Curling Club. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, and juice served by donation!

Spend your Saturday exploring handcrafted treasures at the Community Hall during our annual Christmas Craft Fair. The Chase Heat will also be there helping make this a lively, welcoming space where kids can make something special to take home, meet new friends, and soak up the magic of the season.

Settle in for a cozy evening at the Community Hall as we screen favourite Christmas movies for all ages. Admission is free, with a concession available by donation, making it an easy, affordable night out for families. Wear your comfiest pajamas, bring blankets, lawn chairs, and anything else to make your movie-watching extra comfortable. It is a warm and welcoming way to wind down the day and enjoy some festive classics together.

What better way to spend a school Pro-D than with some winter fun at the Art Holding Memorial Arena. From 10am to 11am, enjoy a relaxed hour of Public Skating, perfect for families, beginners, and anyone wanting to glide into the Christmas spirit.

Then from 11am to 12pm, lace up for Stick and Puck with the Chase Heat, where kids can hit the ice alongside local players for some light practice and playful hockey fun.

Admission is by donation to the food bank, helping support families in our community during the holidays. Kids can also enjoy free popcorn and candy canes, adding a sweet treat to the day’s activities.

After skating, head over to the Evangelical Free Church for an afternoon filled with free family fun. Enjoy a Christmas movie, hands-on crafts, and a tasty spread of hot dogs and popcorn.
